Who is eligible to receive food support?
Any registered student currently enrolled at a partner Kenyan university who is experiencing temporary food insecurity can apply confidentially via our Get Support page.
How are financial donations processed?
All online financial donations are securely processed via Paystack supporting M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Visa, Mastercard, and Bank Wire. You can donate anonymously or with your name.
Can I donate physical food items directly instead of money?
SFBK operates on a monetary donation model. We do not collect individual physical food drop-offs. All financial contributions via M-Pesa or Card are pooled to buy food in bulk directly from farmers and wholesale suppliers at maximum purchasing power.
How do I verify that my donation went through?
Upon completing payment on Paystack or M-Pesa, an automated digital receipt is generated and sent to your email, along with webhook confirmation on our financial dashboard.
